Zizzi (Harrogate 2021)

I took my brother Louie out for his birthday and took our little brother Mowgli out. Louie wanted Zizzi's and I think this is our first time at Zizzi's, I don't think I have ever been to a Zizzi's.

The menu was interested, the regular Italian dishes with a twist like Spaghetti Carbonara with chorizo.

Let's start with the drinks, I ordered the Rhubarb & White Peach Cooler (left in the picture) it is sparkling apple & rhubarb topped with white peach syrup & soda and it was delicious. The drink on the right was Mowgli's and he had ordered the Passion Fruit Punch which was passion fruit purée, fresh lime & rosemary, topped with Sprite. Louie ordered a Diet Coke.

We ordered a platter of garlic bread and chips to share. Louie ordered the Rustica Sofia pizza which was spicy roasted chicken, pepperoni, crumbled chorizo sausage, mozzarella & sliced roquito peppers.

I ordered Chicken & Prosciutto Salad which was torn chicken, crispy prosciutto, avocado, roasted red onions, tomatoes & riserva cheese with spinach, rocket & baby gem lettuce, dressed with a Caesar dressing, I asked for the tomatoes to be removed and it was perfect, I loved how this salad tasted. Mowgli ordered Rustica Pepperoni Campagna which was pepperoni, ham, mushrooms & mozzarella.

The restaurant was clean and the service was amazing, the staff were brilliant and I couldn't fault them.
