Me and the family went to see my sister in Liverpool where she goes to university.
Lunch time came along and we decided to go to Wagamama’s, I have never been so it is a first try.
I ordered the Chilli Steak Ramen which is noodles in a spicy chicken broth topped with steak, red onion, spring onions, beansprouts, chilli, coriander and fresh lime and for a drink I ordered Ginger No-jito which is an alcohol-free, zingy sparkling cold-pressed ginger, coriander seed syrup, fresh mint and lime. Both of them were delicious, I would recommend the drink very much, I might even try to make it myself.
I think my mum ordered the Shu's 'shiok' Chicken which is turmeric, garlic + ginger marinated chicken, roasted and served on a bed of coconut + lemongrass dressed rice, pickled slaw + radish, chilli, coriander, caramelised lime, I think that was what she ordered but she also had the same drink as me.
Mowgli ordered Chicken Katsu Curry, chicken coated in crispy panko breadcrumbs, covered in an aromatic curry sauce served with sticky rice and a side salad. I tried it and it was delicious.
The restaurant was clean, I never knew that they make and bring your food out when they have done it, they don’t just bring it all out together.
It all came within ten minutes of one another.
