I haven't done this sort of blog post for a while UNBOXING: Birchbox UK March 2020 to be more persist, due to corona parcels have been delayed so I never got mine until it was irrelevant and people were getting the next month
The Box
The normal pink postal box came in a brown postage box because this month came with a velvet pouch which we also got in May's box, I never wrote a blog post for it but did put it up on Instagram, the pouch on the left is this month and the pouch on the right was last months. The box (drawer) is a cream with blue shooting stars with red and silver, the drawer is actually blue with white crinkle cut shredded paper. I know I have mentioned about packaging and I hate excess packaging but I do reuse the shredded paper.
Inside the box it comes with the normal information leaflet about the products but there is a card inside the box that I have copied below:
For the month of June, we plan to acknowledge our American heritage. As we all know, a lot is happening right now in the US and in the UK.
We are without all of the right words. We are sad, angry, and at a loss that this is part of our reality. We stand with everyone who is hurting, we stand with the families who have lost loved ones, we stand for anti-racism, and we stand for a wakeup call.
We need to have this conversation everywhere until violence and loss of life are no longer needed to protect the basic rights of the Black Community. To start, we have made donations to Black Lives Matter, the George Floyd Memorial Fund, Brooklyn Bail Fund, Reclaim the Block, and Black Visions Collective. But this is just the beginning.
We are committed to contenting and sharing our education in fighting justice. Additionally, we encourage you to support where you can. Even if it's a small action, it counts.
Please do take the time:
- Donate if you can
- The Floyd Family have set up a GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/georgefloyd
- For Change 'Justice For George Floyd' Petition has become the most popular ever in the U.S. - your signature counts: https://colorofchange.org
- Research and learn. Here is some of our reading list:
Me and White Supremacy by Layla F. Saad, White Fragility by Robin Diangelo, Why Are All The Black Kids Sitting Together In The Cafeteria? by Beverly Daniel Totum, PhD and Why I'm No Longer Talking to White People About Race by Reni Eddo-Lodge.
And talk to the people you love, it's important we encourage everyone to have these conversations, as difficult as they might be.

I pulled this out of my box and didn't have a clue what it was, at first I thought it was an eye primer with the packaging saying Winky Lux Peeper Perfect but it's actually a concealer, it's too dark for my normal skin tone but when I tan it might be okay. It is a full coverage concealer infused with hyaluronic acid, olive oil, grapeseed extract and vitamin E.

I am looking forward to trying the eye patches and the face peel, I am kind of disappointed that I have a repeat item in the Number 4 but I guess I can't moan. I use a Liz Earle face cloth every day and night so the microfibre cloth will come in handy.
Is the box worth it?: Yes
