The Lakeside Inn (Penrith 2022)

My dad really wanted fish and chips for his birthday meal and this was the place to go.

The menu is simple, click here to have a look but the dish I had isn't on the online menu whereas it is on the menu in the restaurant.

I ordered a Berry Mojito and a Buddha Bowl, in the bowl the menu says: Fresh prepared with baby kale, carrot and beetroot string, avocado, grilled broccoli and chilli salad, spring onion, radish, watercress with lemon and roast garlic dressing and hummus. I asked for some grilled chicken and didn't realise there was tomatoes in the bowl. The food was delicious.

The restaurant was very clean and a nice atmosphere, the waitress who dealt with my table was really friendly and helpful.

I would definitely be going back if I was there again.
