Roccabox 2023

I wanted to share my views of this years Roccabox collection, I did this blog post like year so if you would like to read that then click here.

If you got the boxes let me now what you thought? Also thought I would mention that obviously I can't use all of these products and some of them I know I won't like so recently I donated things to Harrogate Food Bank, see here, I don't want to come across as ungrateful, I paid for these boxes and didn't want to waste the items.

January 2023

This is the 'Manifesting New Beginnings' box, I got some reusable pads which I use quite often for my toner from Magnitone London. I got the MAYY Velvet Hydro Matte Lipstick in Tea Rose which you will see in most on my travel makeup bags, it is an amazing lipstick and I wear it at least once a week. The OTO CDB Hand Balm I donated to Harrogate Food Bank recently, they accept toiletries and bits, I just won't get the use out of this. A product I actually stock on Maude & Noah is Vitamasques Super Green Detox Facial 3 Step Facial so I clearly love these. Your Good Health Co. Your Beauty Collagen Capsules, I haven't actually tried these yet. The box wasn't that bad.

The 'British Beauty' box had some interesting items. The BEAUTYPRO® Hand Serum is on my desk at work and the ladies in the office love using it. Not sure I have tried this yet, Figs & Rouge Wonder Love Sea Pearl Halo Dew Drops, I might have but can't remember it. I have not tried these Forever You Beauty Sticks but I do plan to try them out but maybe in the summer when my skin is better. I gave this OLVERUM Calm Restore Restful Sleep Pillow Mist to my mum, I am allergic to lavendar. I haven't tried this yet, the Vitabiotics Brains CBD 1000mg. It was worth £144.89 which is impressive.

'The Future is Female' is the box for March, it was another box over £100. We got a Doctors Cosmeceutical Instant Lip Enhancer which I tried out for a blog post click here to read, Eclat Skin London Hyaluronic Acid + Shea Butter Day Cream was donated to the Harrogate Food Bank. Favor & Grace Wax Melts Jasmine & Oud was not needed as I have my own wax tart business but it looks cute. I haven't used this jecca blac. Play Pots in Red Touch yet. A product I did love was the WholyMe Recover Muscles & Joints Relief Salts, I have actually repurchased this.

'Skin Tech Heroes' is this months box also worth over £100. I donated the first product to Harrogate Food Bank which was Avant Hyalu Replenish Lip Balm, I have so many lip balms opened already. I also have a lot of eye creams open so donated this too flânerie Dark Circles Relief & Uplift Eye Serum. I love this Kate Somerville ExfoliKate® Intensive Exfoliating Treatment, I am going to buy this myself. Another item I donated was Lucy Bee SPF 30 Face Serum. Used all of this Umberto Giannini Scalp Restore Scalp Reviving Anti Dandruff Shampoo up, love it.

'The Glow Up' box for the month of May. Murad® Environmental Shield Correct & Protect Serum Broad Spectrum SPF 45 is something I need to start using. I gave this to my Mum: Noble Isle The Greenhouse Bath & Shower Gel. Another product I gave to my mum is the Palmer's Get Your Coconut Glow, I don't like coconut. Paul Yacomine London Hydrosol Ultra Light Micromist Hair Hydration was donated too. I love my baths so this SALT + STEAM Rouge Night Peppermint, Lemon & Tea Tree Salt Facial Steam was good. Vivoo® Urine Test, what is it, Vivoo is an at-home urine test and app that provides personalised nutritional and lifestyle advice based on your results, I think I might try this before the end of the year to know what is wrong with me.

'Summer Essentials' box, Batiste Dry Shampoo (NHS Charities Together), I love dry shampoo, I have been lazy this year so this came in handy. I donated this Dr Botanicals Sun Protection Body Cream SPF 30 to Harrogate Food Bank. I donated this Jorgobé Squalane Hand Cream too. If I was to receive this box a couple of year ago I would have loved to receive this manicurist Natural Nail Color (Red Coral) but I get my nails done now by Megan (a professional). 'Summer Sparkle' is this months box. I got the BeautyPro® Warming Eye Mask, I stock this brand on my site. I really want to know how to use bellapierre® Cosmetics Universal Concealer Palette. I think I might start using this Perfectil® Skin Extra Support product. I gave Warda Luxury Skincare Hyaluronic Ultimate Facial and Neck Serum away. I have some ideas for makeeup to use this Wunder2 Pure Pigments in Lavender Field.

'Beauty Shelfie' is the box for August. I have been using the Doctors Formula Probiotics ADVANCED Repairing - 8 Hour Repairing Night Moisturiser recently to save my dry winter skin, it is worth £109 and I don't believe it is worth that much. This sample of Elie Saab Girl of Now is really nice. Not sure if I have tried this ESPA Overnight Glow Enzyme Peel yet. Always can use a new tan mitt so happy to get this ffs Double Sided Exfoliating Mitt. Donated this to the food bank: Posh Palm London Sandalwood & Jasmine Hand Sanitiser Gel. I have almost used up all of this Revolution Skincare AHA Smoothing Body Cleanser.

'Rising Stars' is the theme. I tried this ARKIVE The Good Habit Hybrid Oil recently and my hair just ends up being really greasy, I think I need to retry it. I have not tried helloSKIN Hydrogel Eye Masks yet. I have saved these Myrkl Food Supplement to try in the new year. I have got the sixways* Hi-drating Daily Cleanser in my basket to try once my other cleanser has finished. Donated the skinChemists Advanced Lash Intensive Clear Mascara Treatment.

The boxes were interesting, what I like about Roccabox is the fact I get to try expensive products before commiting to them. The total value for this year is £1,161.92 which is an increase from last year which was £1,105.39.
