REVIEW: Youngpoong Yopokki HALAL Original Topokki (rice cake)

I have decided to do a week full of Youngpoong Yopokki Topokki and I know I am gluten free but I try these out for you the blog.



PACKAGING:

Paper pot with plastic lid wrapped in plastic.



INGREDIENTS: Rice Cakes Rice, Refined Salt, Acidity Regulator, Grain Alcohol Sauce Tomato Ketchup (Tomato Paste, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Fermentation Vinegar, Refined Salt, White Sugar), Purified Water, White Sugar, Low Sweet Sugar, Red Pepper Paste Starch Syrup, Flour, Red Pepper Paste (Red Pepper Powder, Refined Salt, Garlic, Onion), Defatted Soybean Powder, Refined Salt, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Composite Seasoning, Apple Puree, Onion, Refined Rice Wine, Garlic, Red Pepper Powder, Refined Salt, Chili Oil, Acidity Regulator, Lemon Extract, Oleoresin Paprika, Emulsifier, Flavour Enhancer, Black Pepper Powder, Xanthan Gum.



HOW TO COOK:

  1. Add rice cake and sauce to the cup

  2. Pour 20ml of water up to the green line

  3. Stir well and partially cover the cup

  4. Cook in microwave for 2 minutes (1000W), 3 minutes (700W)



I liked the taste of it, I know my sister eats these and she said that she would add spring onions and bits to it. It's a quick meal, not very filling in my opinion but tastes nice.
