REVIEW: Samyang Buldak Kimchi Hot Chicken Flavour Ramen

I have decided to do a week full of Samyang and I know I am gluten free but I try these out for you the blog.



PACKAGING:

Foil packet with plastic or foil flavouring packets


INGREDIENTS: Noodle (74.3%): Wheat Flour, Modified Tapioca Starch, Refined Palm Oil, Wheat Gluten, Refined Salt, Emulsifier [Soy Lecithin (E322)], Acidity Regulator [Potassium Carbonate (E501(i)), Sodium Carbonate (E500(i)), Sodium Phosphate Dibasic (E339(ii)), Citric Acid (E330)], Thickener [Guar Gum (E412)], Green Tea Flavour Oil.


Soup (23.7%): Water, White Sugar, Kimchi Powder, Artificial Chicken Flavour, Corn Syrup, Soybean Oil, Red Pepper Paste, Chilli Pepper Power, Soy Sauce, Onion, Artificial Chicken Flavour Powder, Flavour Enhancer [Monosodium L-Glutamate (E621)], Red Pepper Powder, Garlic, Modified Potato Starch, Paprika Extract, Decolourised Chilli Extract, Colour [Caramel Powder (E150c)], Black Pepper Powder, Acidity Regulator [EL-Malic Acid (E296)]


Flake (2.0%): Dried Kimchi Flakes.

HOW TO COOK:

  1. Put noodles and flakes into 600ml of boiling water and cook for 5 minutes.

  2. Please remove water from noodles (retain 5 spoons of water) and put liquid sauce into noodles, stir-fry 30 seconds.

  3. Stir well and serve.



I liked this flavour, I wish I had some fresh kimchi to put onto it but otherwise I would eat this again.
