REVIEW: Samyang Buldak Cheese Hot Chicken Flavour Ramen

I have decided to do a week full of Samyang and I know I am gluten free but I try these out for you the blog.



PACKAGING: Foil packet with plastic or foil flavouring packets


INGREDIENTS: Noodle (73.1%): Wheat Flour, Modified Tapioca Starch, Wheat Gluten, Salt, Glycerin, Soybean Oil, Acidity Regulator [Potassium Carbonate Anhydrous (E501(i)), Sodium Carbonate (E500), Sodium Phophate Dibasic (E339(ii)), Citric Acid (E330)], Thickener [Gua Gum (E412)], Purified Water, Emulsifier [Lecithin (E322)], Green Tea Flavour.


Soup (24.1%): Water, Artificial Cheese Flavour Powder, Soy Sauce, White Sugar, Artificial Chicken Flavour Powder, Soybean Oil, Chilli Pepper Powder, Red Pepper Powder, Onion, Garlic, Modified Potato Starch, Chilli Extract, Paprika Extract, Black Pepper Powder, Curry Powder.


Powder (2.8%): Mozzarella Cheese Powder, Posted Sesame, Roasted Laver.


NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION (for 100g):

  • Energy: 1644 kJ

  • Energy: 393 kcal

  • Fat: 12.9g

  • - of which saturates: 6.4g

  • Carbohydrate: 60g

  • - of which sugars: 5g

  • Fibre: 3.1g

  • Protein: 9.3g

  • Salt: 2.6g



HOW TO COOK:

  1. Add noodles into 600ml of boiling water and cook for 5 minutes.

  2. Please remain 8 tablespoons of water.

  3. Add the sauce and stir-fry for 30 seconds.

  4. Add the powder and stir well and serve.


Not a fan of these, it has that plastic-y cheese flavour which I can't stand.
