REVIEW: PS… Nude Addiction Eyeshadow Palette #Blogmas2019

I had to go into Primark to make a return for a friend and walked past the makeup section and thought I would have a look and saw this palette and just got drawn to this palette.

Just on first appearance I feel these colours are me, they are neutral but with shimmer. The packaging is cardboard with a magnetic closer, it's pretty sleek.

Look #1

Up at 5:30am to do my makeup so I look swollen and tired.

I have decided that I will put Max Factor Miracle Prep Eyeshadow Primer on my right eye (left on the picture) and blend it onto my eyelid with my fingers.

Latte: I put this shadow on my eyelid using my Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush, it's much more pigmented and solid on the eye with primer.

Dubai: blending this shade into the crease using my Real Techniques Blending Crease Brush.

Cashmere: with another Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush I patted this shade onto the eyelid.

Dubai: I put this shade on my under-eye / waterline using a Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush.

I love this look

Update #1 (1pm): the eye with the primer look good however the one without seems to be smudged and in the crease collecting.

Update #2 (7pm): the smokey eye on the unprimed eye isn't as good, YIKES!

Update #3 (9pm): where has the smokey bit gone on the unprimed eye.

Date Tried: Monday 16th December 2019

Look #2

Not up as early as the day before, up at 7am but still looking tired. Thought I would mention that yesterday I cleaned my makeup brushes like in my TIPS video so I have all reused the makeup brushes I used in Look #1.

I applied the same eyeshadow primer on my right eye (left in the picture).

Desert Sand: Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush swiping this shade all over the eyelid.

Latte: using my Real Techniques Blending Crease Brush to blend this shade into my crease and slightly above.

Pandora: with my Real Techniques Angled Shadow Brush I blended this shade into the crease.

Golden: patted this shade onto the eyelid with a clean Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush.

Moon Dust: Real Techniques Accent Brush to place this eyeshadow in the corner of my eye.

Pandora: I put this shade on my under-eye / waterline using a Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush.

Moon Dust: Real Techniques Accent Brush to place this eyeshadow under my brow bone to highlight it.

Really really loving this look.

Update #1 (1pm): my lipstick looks dreadful but otherwise the rest looks good.

Update #2 (8pm): eye with primer is better looking than the other one without.

Date Tried: Tuesday 17th December 2019

Look #3

Another 5:30am start.

Same primer on the right eye (left in the picture).

Desert Sand: using the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush I applied this shade all over the eyelid.

Latte: with my Real Techniques Angled Shadow Brush I blended this shade into the crease and slightly above, it's more noticeable on the eye with the primer.

Tan: using my Real Techniques Blending Crease Brush I blended this shade into my crease then got my Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush and lined my under-eye / waterline.

Moon Dust: Real Techniques Accent Brush to place this eyeshadow under my brow bone and the inner corner of my eye to highlight.

Sorry but I really do like these looks I am creating.

Update #1 (7pm): On the eye without the primer it has rubbed away where it gets oily in the crease.

Date Tried: Wednesday 18th December 2019

Look #4

These 5:30am starts are killing me.

Primer on the right eye (left eye in the picture).

Desert Sand: applied using the Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush all over the eyelid.

Latte: blend this shade into my crease and above using with my my Real Techniques Blending Crease Brush, it looks neater on the eye with the primer.

Dubai: with another Real Techniques Blending Crease Brush I blended it into the crease then with my Real Techniques Fine Liner Brush I lined my under-eye / waterline.

Moon Dust: Real Techniques Accent Brush to place this eyeshadow under my brow bone and the inner corner of my eye to highlight plus used it to highlight my nose and the cupids bow (my lips).

Seriously loving my makeup look.

Update #1 (9am): looking good.

Update #2 (8pm): the eye primer is needed if you don't want the oils on the eyelid the move the shadow.

Date Tried: Thursday 19th December 2019

Look #5

Tired and can't wait for a lie in but today I am up at 5:30am.

I decided my final look I will use primer on both eyes.

Desert Sand: with my Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush I swiped this shade all over the lid, I forgot to take a picture.

Dubai: blend this shade into my crease with my Real Techniques Blending Crease Brush.

Cashmere: with a clean Real Techniques Base Shadow Brush I patted this shade onto my eyelid. I then decided to spray my brush with MAC Fix+ and patted more of this shade onto my lid to make it pop even more.

Dubai: lined my waterline with this shade.

Moon Dust: Real Techniques Accent Brush to place this eyeshadow under my brow bone and the inner corner of my eye to highlight.

I love this look too, I think I should put more effort into my appearance.

Update #1 (2pm): Nothing has smudged or budged except the inner corner of my eye but I have been rubbing my eyes and didn't put primer there.

Date Tried: Friday 20th December 2019

Moon Dust: a lovely neutral shimmer, I have used it as a highlighter for my face as well as eyes.

Desert Sand: a satin beige shade.

Cashmere: shimmer that is slight rose gold(-ish).

Latte: a matte orange/brown shade.

Golden: shimmer gold.

Dubai: matte chocolate brown

Tan: shimmery brown

Pandora: shimmer brown with tones of purple.

Brownie Points: I never got to use this in any looks but it's a matte charcoal, not completely black.

I love this palette, I plan to continue using it but also try out more Primark eyeshadow palettes because this has to be one of my favourite palettes I own. I highly recommend this and think you should purchase it yourself.
