REVIEW: Picard Paella Alla Valenciana

I really wanted to try a bagged paella, something easy and saw this frozen dish that is supposed to be a traditional paella recipe, made of saffron rice, chicken, pieces of Alaska pollock, shelled prawns, squid, rounds of chorizo and a mix of vegetables (garden peas, tomato, onion, red pepper).

PACKAGING: Plastic bag

INGREDIENTS: Cooked yellow rice 49.3% (water, rice, turmeric), pieces of salt-cured roasted chicken [chicken breast or chicken fillet 5.9% (origin: EU), water, dextrose, salt], boned* quality Alaska pollock (Fish) 6%, peeled saltwater shrimp 5% [prawn (Shellfish), salt], squid rings (Molluscs) 5%, petit pois 5%, tomato, onion, red pepper 4%, chorizo 4% [pork (origin: EU), pork fat, salt, chilli, dextrose, spices and spice extracts, lactic acid ferments, preservative: sodium nitrite, antioxidant: sodium ascorbate], natural aromas (contain: Fish and Shellfish), sunflower oil, extra virgin olive oil, salt.

Don't get me wrong, it was delicious, I didn't like the tomatoes in it, I didn't even know traditional paella had tomatoes in it and this had a lot. It was so simple to cook.
