I have slightly yellow teeth, I wanted pearly whites so thought I would try a whitening kit from the drugstore.

Sodium Bicarbonate also known as baking soda, is how we naturally whiten and clean your teeth. We wish eating cakes did the same thing. We are working on that, till then we will have to stick to our proven formula.

INGREDIENTS:
Glycerin, Sodium Bicarbonate, Carbomer (NOS), Xylitol, Chondrum Crispus (Carrageenan) Powder, Sorbitol, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil (Mint Flavour A009), Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Gel, Sodium Chlorite, Camellia, Citrus Grandix (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, Propylene Glycol, Anthemis Nobilis (Chamomile) Flower Extract, Cocamidopropyl Betaine.
HOW TO:
Ensure mouth tray and teeth are clean
Check to see the LED light is working by twisting the cover on the back of the LED light to expose the batteries. Remove the plastic sleeve insert that sits between both batteries and then place the batteries back into the LED light in the correct position.
Attach the LED light onto the front of the mouth tray and clip into position.
Apply 1/4 of the gel from 1x tube into the mouth tray. Apply just enough to coat the frontal surfaces of the mouth tray for your teeth to be whitened, but not your gums.
Place the mouth tray into your mouth (with LEF light turned on) and hold into position. Press the 'on' button and then it will countdown from 10 minutes - you can repeat this 10 minute countdown 3-4 times per sitting. For best results use between 10-30 minutes.
After use, rinse your mouth with lukewarm water and ensure that you have cleaned your mouth tray to keep it hygienic. Repeat this for 6 consecutive days each week to achieve best results.
3 x 6 = 18 / 4 = 4.5
Before we start the instructions say to put 1/4 of the gel in the tube onto the tray, now this set says there is 3 weeks supply, 3 weeks times 6 consecutive days equals 18, 18 divide by 4 = 4.5 so how is there 3 weeks available in this set, I am missing half a tube to make it 3 weeks.
Week #1
Day #1: I thought I would take a photo before with the shade guide but it wasn't the best quality, I would say my teeth are shade 10. First impression, my teeth do not hurt, I have tried teeth whitening products and my teeth aren't sensitive but those sort of products hurt my gums however this doesn't.
Week #2
Day #1: I have an eye cream, hence the glossy looking eye. I thought I would show how my teeth would look. The claims for this is '8 shades whiter in 2 weeks' so surely by week 1 my teeth should be 4 shades whiter. Now when I started my teeth were shade 10 (yikes), I would say they are a shade 7 now so that is a good thing.
My teeth got 3 shades lighter not 8 shades so I wasn't that impressed with it, I will be continue using it and maybe do another blog post, a revisit. I really wanted this to work because my teeth weren't sensitive after using it and I saw a bit of a difference in the first week.
