REVIEW: Morphe X Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette

I love my Morphe X The Jeffree Star Artistry Palette and REVIEW: Morphe X James Charles The Mini Palette so thought I would try another YouTuber palette.

PACKAGING:

The cardboard palette comes in a bubble wrap sleeve then the cardboard box around it. In the palette there is a plastic protector over the top.

Creating this palette has truly been a dream come true for me. Morphe gave me full creative control and allowed me to customise my dream palette for everyone to enjoy!
Every shade was customised by me and I really hope you guys love it as much as I do! I wanted a range of neutrals and pops of colors to accommodate all skin tones. I put my heart and soul into this palette and I hope my pickiness pays off!

Look #1

My eyes before any other makeup item has been applied.

I only prime one eye because I want to see if you need a primer, which most of the time I do because I have oily eyelids, the primer I use is Max Factor Miracle Prep Eyeshadow Primer.

M.F.E.O.: Using a Morphe brush I pat this shade all over the lid

Creamsicle: Using my Morphe M447 I blended this shade into my crease and slightly above

Roxanne: Using the same brush as before, I lightly blended it into the crease

Queen: I patted this shade using a Morphe brush on my lid

Roxanne: Using a Morphe liner brush I lined my under eyes

Beam: Using my Morphe brush, not a clue what it is but I used it to highlight my tear duct and under brow

Makeup done, I love the sunset style eye look.

Update #1 (7:30pm): The eye without the primer has moved and the shadow collects in the crease.

My eye before primer.

Yet again just the one eye primed.

Buns: Using my Morphe X Jeffree Star JS6 brush I cover my lid with this shade

Jacs: Using my Morphe X Jeffree Star JS8 brush I blend this shade into my crease

Jacs: Using my Morphe brow brush I line the under eye

The rest of the makeup is done and I quite like the way it looks.

Update #1 (10:30am): The eye without the primer has worn slightly in the crease.

Update #2 (6:45pm): The eye without primer is terrible, you can see how bad it looks.

Primed the one eye.

Silk Crème: Using my Spectrum B04 brush I pat this shade all over the lid, yes it looks a little messy

Pooter: Using my Morphe X Jeffree Star JS9 brush I blend this shade into my crease

Twerk: Using a Morphe pencil brush I lined my under eye, I love this sort of shade for eyeliner for a pop of colour

I have finished the makeup and I do love adding a pop of colour to my eyeliner.

Update #1 (8:15pm): The eye without primer is lighter and moved.

Hunts: Using a Morphe blending brush I blend this shade into my crease

Jada: Using a Morphe eyeliner brush I line the bottom lashes to give a pop of colour

I am not sure I like this look.

Update #1 (6:15pm): You can see my oily eyelid has moved the product on the eye without primer.

Mocha: Using my Morphe blending brush I blended this shade into my crease.

Meeks: Using my Morphe X Jeffree Star JS11 to pat this shade onto the lid.

Mocha: Using my Morphe eyeliner brush I lined my lower eyes

Enlight: Using my Real Techniques Accent brush I highlighted my tear duct and under brow bone

I really like how this makeup look turned out.

Update #1 (5:00pm): An emotional time for me at the moment, struggling with my help. Anyway you can see the eyeshadow has been smudged on the eye without primer.

Update #2 (7:30pm): The makeup is looking very clingy and caky however the eyeshadow on the eye with primer looks good.

Central Park: Using my Morphe crease brush I blend this shade into my crease, you can see it is more pigmented on the eye with primer.

S.B.N: Using my Spectrum B04 I pat this shade on my lid

Central Park: I blended this shade into my under eye.

I really like the look of this makeup look, I don't know if this is my favourite look so far.

Update #1 (8:00pm): The eye look is smudged on the eye without primer.

Definitely my favourite look that I have ever done, the hair, the makeup, the outfit, feeling good.

Update #2 (6:45pm): My oily eyelids mean that I need a primer.

I don't normally do a smokey dramatic eye like this but I like how it turned out.

I didn't manage to try out Firework, Obsessed, Cranberry, Hustle, 24/7, Chip, Soda Pop or Abyss.

If you have oily eyelids like me then you definitely need an eye primer. I really like the colour selection in this palette.
