Sponge
I prepped my skin with my skincare.
I have decided to prime half of my face, I want to see if the foundation works better with primer or without.
I used my Lottie London sponge to blend the foundation in, the side with the primer is the better side.
The only other face product I used was a little bronzer.
Makeup has been applied and the side with the primer looks smoother.
Update #1 (6pm): Still looks pretty good by this point.
Update #2 (7:30pm): Bit patchy.
Date Tried: Monday 7th June 2021
Brush
Prepped my skin with my usual skincare.
Used my favourite primer on only one half, as you can see the side with primer it looks smooth and not as red.
Using my Real Techniques Buffing Brush I buffed in the foundation, where I have dry patches it seems to budge and move like my chin and nose.
Only used bronzer on my favourite.
I think the side with the primer looks better but I don't like how my nose is patchy.
Update #1 (10:30am): Doesn't look that bad.
Update #2 (7pm): Patchy but to think I have been wearing it for over 12 hours, it doesn't look that bad.
Date Tried: Tuesday 8th June 2021
Fingers
Skincare is an essential for me.
Primed only one side, you can see this primer covers up quite a bit of red marks.
I will always remember as a young teen using the MAC foundation with my fingers, sponges weren't a big thing then. You can see that the foundation looks better on the side with primer, you can't see the red face I have.
Applied only bronzer.
Makeup done and looking striking.
Update #1 (8:20pm): The foundation has worn down evenly
Date Tried: Wednesday 9th June 2021
Full Face
Skincare done.
I have primed my whole face and it looks good.
I prefer the way the sponge application look looked so decided to use it again.
Used bronzer, concealer and translucent powder plus highlighter and setting spray.
I actually like how the makeup has turned out.
Update #1 (6:20pm): Patchy but it has been a sweaty day so it has lasted well.
Date Tried: Thursday 10th June 2021
I have loved wearing a foundation that doesn't feel heavy, that is pretty buildable. It isn't 100% full coverage but can be buildable.
