HOW TO:

Simply smooth over cleansed skin before applying your make up for long-lasting hydration and make up that won't move all day!

Now before I start I will be applying this primer only on one side, on my right (left in the pictures).

Look #1

I washed my face, moisturised and let that sink in prior to adding the primer.

I massaged this primer into my skin, it felt nice and the side with the primer had a bit more of a glow.

The foundation I used was Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation in which I did a blog post on it last year: FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Anastasia Beverly Hills Stick Foundation, I used a Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to blend it in. The foundation looks a lot more even on the side of the primer.

Makeup all done, on my eyes I have a primer plus James Charles palette which I was testing out, to see that blog post it was called REVIEW: Morphe X James Charles The Mini Palette, I used Zoeva eyebrow pencil, Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, Benefit Hoola Bronzer, no concealer, no highlighter or powder.

UPDATE #1 (10am): My skin on both sides look dry and patchy but not as bad on the side with the primer.

UPDATE #2 (6pm): The eyeshadow has definitely moved on the eye without primer.

Date Tried: Monday 13th July 2020

Look #2

Same as the last look, washed and moisturised.

Feels hydrating on the side the primer was applied.

I love MAC Face & Body, I applied it using a Real Techniques buffing brush, this is a dewy foundation but even dewy(ier) on the side with primer.

The only face product I used was Benefit Hoola bronzer otherwise it was just eye stuff. I love how this looks.

Update #1 (2pm): Both sides look good.

Update #2 (7:30pm): Both sides look dry, it doesn't feel so dry on the side with the primer.

Date Tried: Wednesday 15th July 2020

Look #3

I know I had an eye bogey

It's so weird having these black bits in it but I just rub them in.

Foundation is IT Cosmetics, you will have seen it in many blog posts but if you want to know what I think of the foundation it was called REVIEW: IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+, I applied it using my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge.

The makeup may look familiar, I was doing the REVIEW: Morphe X James Charles The Mini Palette, the only face product I used was Benefit Hoola Bronzer.

UPDATE #1 (5:30pm): Dry but okay right now.

UPDATE #2 (6pm): It doesn't look so bad.

Date Tried: Sunday 19th July 2020

Look #4

Washed and moisturised.

Primer applied on one side and feels good.

Foundation is NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Foundation which I did a blog post: FIRST IMPRESSIONS: NYX Professional Makeup Total Control Drop Foundation, I used a Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to blend it in.

I was doing another blog post whilst doing this; REVIEW: Maybelline Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette, the only face product I used was Benefit Hoola Bronzer.

Update #1 (5:30pm): Slight dry.

Update #2 (9pm): The side without primer is dry compared to with.

Date: Monday 20th July 2020

Look #5

God I look rough.

Very dewy looking on one side.

The foundation I am using was in this blog post: FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Revlon ColorStay™ Foundation For Normal/Dry Skin, I used a Real Techniques sponge, I am going to be honest, I can't tell a difference between the sides.

Makeup all done and the only face product is Benefit Hoola bronzer.

Update #1 (11:45am): No difference between the sides.

Update #2 (8pm): No difference still.

Date Tried: Tuesday 21st July 2020

Look #6

All washed and moisturised.

Primed and prepped.

I used Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation on a Real Techniques sponge, the side with the primer is slightly more dewy.

Makeup done and looks okay, I only used Benefit Hoola Bronzer on my face.

Update #1 (8pm): There is not much of a difference.

Date Tried: Wednesday 22nd July 2020

I don't think I will be using this again, definitely won't be repurchasing, I didn't like how it left my face feeling.
