REVIEW: Birds Eye Inspirations Stir Cook Meal Spanish Style Paella with Chicken & Prawns

I wish I was on the beach, sipping a glass of sangria heading off to go get some paella for lunch but I am not so let's try this. Also I work really long days and need quick meals for dinner so let's see.

PACKAGING: Plastic bag

INGREDIENTS: Cooked Rice (Water, Yellow Long Grain Rice, Salt, Turmeric), Peas, Red Pepper, Cooked Marinated Chicken (9%) (Chicken Breast, Sunflower Oil, Dextrose, Rice Flour, Salt), Marinated King Prawns (Crustaceans) (8%) (Prawns (Crustaceans), Salt), Onion, Palm Fat, Vegetable Stock Powder, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Tomato Powder, Chicken Broth Powder, Spices, Salt, Palm Kernel Oil, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Oregano

HOW TO COOK:

Shallow Fry - From Frozen. Tastiest when pan cooked straight from the freezer.

Medium / High heat 7-8 mins

  1. Empty the contents of the bag into a wok or non-stick pan [approx. 24cm diameter].

  2. Add 2-3 tablespoons of water and heat on a high setting until the sauce starts to melt.

  3. Reduce to a medium heat, stirring regularly until most of the sauce has been absorbed and the prawns and chicken are cooked through.

It tastes really nice, not as good as Spanish paella, too many peas but what I like is the vegetables in it like the pepper are still crunchy not over cooked and slimy,
