REVIEW: Bannisters Farm 4 Cheese & Bacon Baked Potato Skins

When I saw these I had to try them, I normally never buy these sort of things, I make it myself.



PACKAGING: Cardboard box.


INGREDIENTS: British Potato (70%), Water, White Mature Cheddar Cheese (Milk) (8%), Smoky Bacon (5%) (Pork, Water, Salt, Sugar, Smoke Flavouring, Preservative: Sodium Nitrite), Sunflower Oil, Monterey Jack Cheese (Milk) (3%), Mustard Powder, White Pepper


NUTRITIONAL INFORMATION (per 100g):

  • Energy: 727 kJ

  • Energy: 174 kcal

  • Fat: 7.9g

  • - of which saturates: 2.6g

  • Carbohydrate: 20.5g

  • - of which sugars: 2.2g

  • Fibre: 2.5g

  • Protein: 6.3g

  • Salt: 0.3g


HOW TO COOK (Oven - From Frozen):

  1. Remove all packaging and cook from frozen on a baking tray in the middle of your oven at 200°C/400°F/gas mark 6, for 20 mins.


HOW TO COOK (Microwave - From Frozen):

  1. Pop the skins on a microwaveable plate and cook from frozen.

  2. When the time's up, leave them to stand for a minute before tucking in.

One potato 800W: 2 mins, 900W: 1.5 mins

Two potato 800W: 3 mins, 900W: 2.5 mins

Three potato 800W: 4 mins, 900W: 3.5 mins

Four 800W: 5.5 mins, 900W: 4.5 mins



I decided to microwave them so did two, first picture is frozen and second is cooked, these are delicious, I have actually purchased more of these and even another flavour to try. If you want a quick lunch or dinner these are perfect, there are even some of these in the freezer at my work in case I forget my lunch or if I am busy with meetings and have a working lunch.
