Ramada Encore by Wyndham (Leicester 2024)

I feel like I will have stayed at every hotel in Leicester.

I got myself the basic room, the place needs a lick of paint, clearly they had a rude guest previously who smeared red lipstick on the wall near the mirror which is rude. I never use or turn on the televisions in hotel rooms but the size of this room and the position of the bed to the small television wouldn't work for me, I am blind as a bat without my contact lenses but you can see that it is at a distance.

The bathroom is very small, the shower was not very powerful which I hate, I hate weak showers but it is what it is.

The staff need a bit more energy, I have worked in hospitality and I know how exhausting it can be but you fake it till you make it. I stood at the reception desk for 10 minutes, a woman behind there was drying glasses, saw me, gave me a weak smile and continued drying the glasses in the dishwasher and once she had done came over and checked me in. I don't think this is a good reaction or behaviour from a staff member to a guest.

I place wasn't spotless, it smelt like feet in the lift and it wasn't just one occasion, it was throughout the weekend, I know the location is in centre of town but I heard everything, I had stayed in many hotels in Leicester and never have I had such a restless night sleep.

I won't be staying at this hotel again.
