Me and one of the work colleagues I went out to Portugal with decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant called Pine Bar.
Pictures above are from their website. It is gorgeous place, the only issue I had is the tables were too low for me but I need to remember it is a bar not a restaurant as such also the guy who works there was rushed off of his feet with no support from any other staff.
The food was reasonably priced to think it was in this fancy restaurant and the menu was very simple with wraps, salads, burgers, sandwiches and pasta dishes.
I ordered the beef burger which was a beef burger in sweet bread, garlic mayonnaise, lettuce, bacon, red onion pickles and what they call chips but it was fresh crisps that were warm. It cost €16.00 which at the time worked out at £14.09. The red onion pickles was delicious, I could have had a bowl of them and the fresh crisps too. If I go back I will definitely be getting this burger again.
The next day I ordered the spaghetti carbonara which was €16.00 so £14.09, this wasn't as nice, the liquid at the bottom of the bowl was brown, I think it is from the burnt bacon that was underneath the dish. It was mega salty to the point where I went back to my room and downed the complimentary bottle of water in the room.
