2020 has been so sh*tty and I am so glad it is over. I have setup my New Years Resolutions in categories and maybe the following year I will do the same.
Personal: I would like to treat myself every other month to a treatment in a salon or beauty place (couldn't think of the word), I buy new makeup products and bits but never actually treat myself to facials or massages, that sort of thing.
Health: I would like to lose 4 stone this year, I had lost weight before the first lockdown and wanted to lose another 2 stone but COVID happened and I gained weight so 4 stone is my aim.
Achievement: pass my driving test, this is my main goal for 2021.
Blog: I lost motivation for a while on my blog so now that I have got a bit more passion back I want to make my blog a bit more special, have blog posts ready instead of the night before quickly writing something. If I haven't done it, don't rush and do a half-arsed job.
Holiday: go on a solo trip abroad, after 2020 I need time on my own and think another solo trip abroad is exactly what I need. I don’t know where yet but it will be somewhere that I can explore, I will write blog posts about the trip but somewhere that I can just relax. This all depends on the situation with the world.
Hobby: finish Project. and get it to the next step, Project B has been put on the back burner for a while so I would like to get back to it and get my side, phase A done so that it can be moved on.
Business: I want to setup a pop up shop this year, probably in Harrogate.
Overview of 2020’s resolutions
Go on another solo trip abroad: COVID stopped this from happening.
Explore my new home: I haven’t had the motivation to explore Harrogate, with COVID the place has been a ghost town at some points and I don’t want to be not be able to stop off at local eateries to try it and bits like that.
Host a bloggers event: I was planning an event, got other bloggers involved and then COVID happened.
Go see a theatre show: COVID closed them down
Attend an event with Maude & Noah: COVID!
Get Maude & Noah stocked: I has a few brick and mortar stores wanting to stock my products but COVID made them very unsure about it, the uncertainty with the world was what held them back.
Release Project B: I have just lost motivation and interest until the end of December so want to get back onto it.
Release Project F: This project would mean being around people but it wasn’t possible with COVID.
Pass my driving test: I am going to be honest, I couldn’t be arsed.
Be healthier: I have gained so much weight during lockdown.
Take a selfie a day: Forgot about this.
Move out: It wasn’t the right time for me.
