Nando's (Leicester 2024)

I met up with my auntie and cousin at Nando's for a meal, I haven't been to Nando's in years.

If you have never been to Nando's it is a place where you can get chicken with sauce, pretty much what they do, you choose the spice level you want, obviously they do more options.

I ordered Chicken Butterfly (two chicken breasts, joined by crispy flame-grilled skin. Infused with PERi-PERi and served in your choice of spice) and chose hot (tongue-tingling heat, not for the faint hearted) and the two sides I chose was PERi-Salted Chips and Spicy Rice with a glass or can of Spier Merlot (South African, dark and luscious with ripe red and black berries). I really enjoyed everything part of it. On the side I did have the Extra Hot sauce which was delicious but it was definitely spicy.

There was a lot of staff members walking around but actually trying to get their attention wasn't easy, the place was so busy and packed.

Nando's is reasonably priced and everything I ate was gluten free.
