My Yorkshire Three Peaks Experience 2020

I failed.

Let’s rewind to Friday, I have written a blog post called What's In My Travel Toiletries/Makeup Bag? (Carnforth 2020) if you want to see what I packed we were given our t-shirts to wear the following day, if you want to see the full outfit go to the blog post OOTD: Yorkshire Three Peaks 2020 to see.

Popped to McDonald’s to get some dinner, yes I know it’s not as healthy or healthy at all but we needed some dinner.

I got to the hotel, I have done a blog post called The Whoop Hall Hotel & Country Club.

I took photos of the room, slightly unpacked and then downstairs for drinks with work colleagues. I have to admit that I work with some really good people so we had a laugh, I tried to stay up as long as possible but I really hadn't been feeling very well for the past week.

I went to bed and put my alarm on for 4:30am but woke up at 4am feeling like I was going to throw up, I took photos for GET READY WITH ME: Yorkshire Three Peaks 2020 blog post and got dress then

5:15am, pitch black in the car park waiting for everyone, left at 5;30am and signed in at 6am. I was told to have some breakfast but I couldn't manage it. Walking up Ingleborough I just couldn't catch my breath and felt like I was going to throw up so when I got to the top I rang my parents to meet me at the bottom because I knew I wasn't going to be able to complete the Three Peaks.

I failed, I only managed the first peak, now previously on practise runs I managed to climb Pen-Y-Ghant so I am going to go back and do Whernside so I can say I climbed the three peaks but I knew I wouldn't be able to do the full thing, I was emotionally and physically drained.
