Me & My Health #13

I have really struggled during the month of May with calorie counting, I gave my self a cheat day once a week and the rest of the week aimed to eat 1,500 or less.

I haven't been going to the gym as much as I would like.


Friday 14th May 2021: I got some bad news at work and it really put me in such a bad mood where I didn't want to eat, I only managed 879 calories so I still had 621 left. I could have cried all day, I will be honest I did get teary eyed and had been given a sausage cob and binned it because I felt sick with anger.


Tuesday 18th May 2021: I have really struggled with breathing through my nose, been getting nose bleeds quite often and have a constantly runny nose so managed to get a doctors appointment for today so when I went and the doctor said the left nostril is swollen inside and really sore looking, he wants me to have a blood test to check my white blood cell count and has prescribed me some nasal cream to rub up my nose three times a day up the left nostril.


Wednesday 19th May 2021: Blood test went really well. I have noticed I am really stressed at the moment and have been suffering with spots as well as diarrhoea.

Monday 24th May 2021: I have started taking the medication the doctor prescribed Amitriptyline and haven't noticed a different but it will take a while.


Weight In 2021

Weight (1st January): 14st

Weight (1st February): 13st 5lb (lost 9lbs)

Weight (1st March): 13st 10lb (gained 5lbs)

Weight (1st April): 14st (gained 4lbs)

Weight (1st May): 14st 4lb (gained 4lbs)

Weight (1st June): 14st 4lb (stayed the same)


My Plan for Month

My aim is for this month to lose at least 1 stone, I want to do the following Monday to Friday:

  • Have breakfast either toast or yoghurt with granola

  • Big lunch

  • Dinner is just salad or vegetables

  • Drink at least 2 litres of water a day, can be still, sparkling or with a dash of lemon

Workout at the gym at least 2 days a week for at least 1 hour and on the days that I am not working out I want to hit my target of 10,000 steps on 2 days.
