McDonald's (Rome 2022)

I know people are probably thinking, why are you eating McDonald's in Rome, what about the pasta, what about the pizza, I want to try McDonald's all around the world to see what others do. I did one when I was in Stockholm so if you would like to read this then click here.

During my trip I went to multiple McDonald's during multiple days.

Cappuccino

There doesn't seem to be many coffee shops, there is no Starbucks so I thought I would try McDonald's coffee in Rome. It wasn't a cappuccino as I knew it, no chocolate dust on top, wasn't very strong and the froth wasn't usual.

When I went to the Spanish Steps it started raining so I decided to take shelter in McDonald's and ordered myself a McWrap® con petto di pollo croccante e Parmigiano Reggiano, Le Ricche Cheese&Bacon and a Liptons peach tea.

This is a breaded chicken wrap with lettuce, tomato (I removed that on the ordering screens), parmigiana reggiano cheese with caesar sauce. Like all McDonald's products the food isn't evenly distributed in the wrap but it was tasty when I got a full wrap. I wish they did this in England.

Le Ricche Cheese&Bacon

This is the fries with cheese and bacon and this definitely needs to be put on the English menu because it is so good. I may have ordered them when I went again.

I decided to takeout McDonald's and got myself Crispy McBacon®, Le Ricche Cheese&Bacon, Sundae Caffè and Tiramisù. When I ordered on the screens I got the receipt with my number, went to the counter and they gave me my savoury food as well as my sundae pot and told me to go to the McCafe section and they will give me the tiramisu and the caffé part of the sundae.

Crispy McBacon®

Regular beef burger in a McDonald's bun with cheese, bacon and a sauce, I don't think it was Big Mac sauce but it was okay. The burger doesn't look like the picture but that is normal for McDonald's. To make this better would for the bread bun to not be toasted too long, the beef patty was over cooked but also gherkins, I love gherkins.
