Another boring four episodes.
Episode 17
This is the commitment ceremony. Everybody has been taking about the dinner party and Jack saying muzzle your woman, they are all disgusted by him but he feels good saying it.
Lauren felt abandoned by her husband so slept in another room, I understand, her husband lost his spine.
Lucinda & Timothy
They are invited first to the sofa, they ended up in a strip bar, they were having fun and doing different things. It’s a friendship not a romantic one. They both voted to stay. There is a bit of a disagreement with Timothy and Lucinda on their relationship.
Jayden & Eden
These two are so cute together. They have had sex and of course both said stay.
Sara & Tim
They are both smiley but I just don’t believe Sara has changed, they have made changes and are staying.
Jade & Ridge
First commitment ceremony and they both really like each other and both voted to stay.
Cassandra & Tristan
Tristan is not doing good. Cassandra woke up this morning and he was distant. Tristan is nervous that him and Cass are just friends. He is worried he is not enough for her. She voted stay and Tristan voted leave. Of course Cassandra is upset by this, she is trying and sadly Tristan is just in his own head. He needs to focus on her and believe that.
Michael & Stephen
Stephen has doubts that he is second best. The experts explained everything. Both of them wrote stay.
Ellie & Ben
Ellie is nervous to be there, she doesn’t think she is getting the real Ben. Feels he is trying to control everything and she is losing herself. He babbles on and I just don’t listen. He wrote stay, Ellie wrote leave.
Andrea & Richard
Andrea was slightly upset with the way Richard spoke about them on the last sofa session, she felt disrespected. Richard is upset that they have lost their connection. Both wrote stay.
Madeleine & Ash
Ash is frustrated, these two are not going to work, with the whole speaking to ghosts isn’t for him. She wrote leave and he wrote stay. I don’t think she is really in this experiment fully.
Lauren & Jonathan
Jonathan is called out for not having Lauren’s back. Jonathan apologises to Jack and Tori which shocks the group and the experts. Lauren run, he is just not a man.
The experts call Jonathan out for not sticking up for his wife when Jack told him to muzzle his wife. The experts ask all the men why they stayed quiet after that comment. Both of them wrote stay.
Jack & Tori
Tori has looked so miserable throughout this whole thing, it’s her birthday which probably sucks. The male expert goes straight to Jack about the muzzling women comment. He says he’s ashamed but he is just saying this, I don’t believe it. Tori is so blind to this whole thing and Jack sits there smug. She sticks up for him, she even rolled her eyes as one of the experts. She is driving me insane, she is an attractive woman who deserves better. Both wrote stay.
Everybody leaves, Jack and Tori sit there still on the sofa, she is being manipulated by him.
Episode 18
Ellie & Ben
Ellie can’t locate Ben, what a shame? Ellie spent the night after the commitment ceremony in another room.
Cassandra & Tristan
Tristan is going to try.
Lauren & Jonathan
They started off with an argument, she wants him to stick up for her.
Jack & Tori
Last night was a lot for Tori. These two got matching tattoos, weird devil tattoos with a heart.
Lucinda & Timothy
These two have woken in separate rooms because of last night. He feels he was thrown under the bus and has no loyalty to her now.
Jade & Ridge
They move into their flat together.
Madeleine & Ash
There two have come up with an agreement that they need to leave.
This week it is Family and Friends Week for the original group.
Jack & Tori
Her best friend Leah is coming along. Tori is prepping him on what he should speak about.
Jack got a little emotional when he saw Tori and Leah hugging. Leah heard about the muzzle comment and she knows what sort of character he is.
Leah asks if they are being intimate, they haven’t had sex yet and I know Leah is shocked by it. Leah doesn’t like him or trust him, Jack bought her a gift.
Jayden & Eden
The couple meet the family, so Eden meets Mitch who did it previously. Eden’s dad is there and he thinks these two are a great match.
Lucinda & Timothy
These two are getting ready in separate flats. Lucinda’s mother and father come to visit.
In the car Lucinda questions how he wants this to work, he doesn’t seem interested. They start arguing because he felt the commitment ceremony was a target to him.
She explains in front of the group how she feels and her dad starts getting involved. His friend explains the way he has dealt with this is because of the trauma he has dealt with.
What Lucinda’s dad said is true, he is stuck in the past. He takes Timothy to the side for a chat, her dad proper made Timothy laugh and I think this softened him up and even told Timothy to have a one night stand with his daughter, what the hell? Timothy has a twinkle in his eye when he came back to the table.
The new couples have the relationship crash course.
Jade & Ridge
They have to write a letter about something they deeply regret or something they have never told anybody. She reads her letter out and you can tell it hit Ridge seeing her get so upset, he seemed quite grown up.
The next day she felt vulnerable after admitting what she did. He wants her to open up to him.
Michael & Stephen
They have the hugging task where they have to hug for three minutes.
Episode 19
More family and friends week for the originals.
Ellie & Ben
Ben is still missing from the apartment. Ellie is angry that he’s wasting her time and gone missing.
He comes back and wants to refresh and be the person she needs.
He writes her a very sh*t song. She gets emotional, why I haven’t a clue, she says it’s because he is thinking about her and what he’s done.
Something happened and Ellie and Ben have had an argument and Ben ends up leaving. He doesn’t like the way she applies makeup, the fact that she is 32 and he’s 39 so there is a generational gap, the fact she is from the Gold Coast, the fact she is sensitive and emotional and he doesn’t get a good conversation from her.
She would rather be single than spend another night with him.
Sara & Tim
These two are in a better place. Tim’s vile friend Ben is back. Ben starts making jokes that are just not needed.
Tim put his foot down with his friend which I think really helped Sara and she liked this.
Lucinda & Timothy
They had a catch up after the family meet. She asked what his tips were which made Timothy laugh because he’s probably thinking of the comment.
He moves back into their flat but into his own room, they start playing board games and having fun.
Cassandra & Tristan
Tristan’s mum and Cassandra’s dad meet with them. Cassandra’s dad is lovely.
Tristan explains they are in the friendship zone, explaining he was bullied and his self confidence is lacking.
Andrea & Richard
They had their first fight and it was awkward, the vibe is bad. He didn’t like that she was talking to her friends for a while and he doesn’t feel she is trying and rebuilding their relationship.
Andrea’s best friend is joining and Richard’s daughter. He seemed emotional and got upset. Andreia mentioned Richard spoke about the intimacy and has put a block up.
He bursts into tears saying Andy isn’t into him anymore.
I think the daughter and friend has helped their relationship.

Jade & Ridge
Picture ranking and she says Ridge is top. He also put her first two.
Phone swap test which went well.
Michael & Stephen
They are doing the confession letter. Stephen’s dad cheated on his mum when he was a kid. When Stephen starts reading his he got emotional so Michael was there being supportive.
They did the value task and it went well.
Episode 20
Ellie & Ben
Ben is staying in another apartment. He is very bipolar with if he wants to do this experiment, if he wants to be with Ellie. He wrote a letter and sent her a package, inviting her to go back to where they walked down the aisle.
Lucinda & Timothy
They are doing a little better but Timothy is not very happy with Jayden.
Dinner party and in walks Michael and Stephen who seem comfortable together. In walk Sara and Tim with hands together. Lauren walks in with Jonathan on her arm. Jack and Tori hand in hand and was better towards the group. Jack speaks to Lauren and apologises to her and explained he is ashamed of how he was. Jayden and Eden walking in colour coordinated. Cassandra has her arm in the crook of Tristan’s arm. Andrea and Richard walk in but not hand in hand. Lucinda and Timothy walk in. Lucinda speaks to everyone and I think everyone really enjoys her, even speaking to Jack and he listened to her. Jayden starts having a conversation with Lucinda. Hand in hand walks Jade and Ridge. They talk about the letter writing with Sara and Lauren, Ridge explains how he was getting choked up from Jade’s letter. Ellie walks in on her own looking stunning, she doesn’t need a man like him. Jonathan wants to slap Ben, I think Jonathan likes Ellie. Ben walks in, I don’t think anybody is really welcoming of him.
I think during the dinner everybody is looking at Ben, Ben has always looked awkward during these dinner parties even when it isn’t about him. Lauren let’s Ben take the floor and explain himself. Cassandra is shocked to hear that Ben has wrote a negative list about his wife. Everybody goes after him and then he let’s everybody know that he doesn’t believe they should be together, he is broke up with her in front of everybody. He has no respect for her at all.
Sara and Tim have all been over each other.
Timothy calls out Jayden for talking shit about his relationship with Lucinda. Lucinda sticks up for Timothy because their relationship (friendship) has improved. Jayden and Timothy argue and it’s quite entertaining. Somebody spills Lauren’s win which made me laugh with her comment ‘nobody spills my wine, I’m pissed’, I want to be friends with Lauren.
Lucinda explains how they are now and Tori said ‘shut the fuck up’, so Timothy questions who said it. Tori has to argue with him. Lucinda and Timothy talk to each other and Timothy said he has nothing but respect for her tonight, she has had his back and I hope this is what helps develop their relationship.
Timothy explains how he feels about Lucinda and Tori makes smug comments. She says he looks smug, she makes comments and Timothy gives good as he could. Then Jack makes comments. I think Tori is agitated with the fact that Timothy is doing well. Cassandra mentions she thinks Tori’s energy just goes into bad mouthing or trying to make him look bad. Tori then goes for Cassandra who made a comment. Tori thinks she is something special, top tier which isn’t correct. I think it is the lack of sex that is making Tori so angry. I remember seeing the girls talking and Tori wasn’t part of that.
