I thought I would share how I made or saved money during 2024 and how you could do this yourself. Now I am writing this on Friday 13th December so my balances have gone up and I will be withdrawing or spending some of it before the end of the year because I want to start 2025 and see how much more I can make or save next year.

TopCashback is a mobile app and website where you can make money or get cash back from purchases you make.
I have made £491.58 this year, currently can withdraw £468.12, still waiting for money to be confirmed and accepted in the pending section. I have managed to get money back from Ryman orders, sneak peek on a blog post coming soon but I bought Liverpool PJs for my family for Christmas and got cash back from it, my new Converse I got cash back from schuh, my recent trips I managed to get cash back from those trips on Hotels.com, there are so many companies on the website and app.

Boots Scan2Recycle
If you want a full blog post on how to do this you can read it here, but basically there is an app you take a photo of your empty toiletries, cosmetics, vitamins etc and when you have five items you can take them in to recycle and get a voucher for 500 Advantage points when you spend £10, 500 points is worth £5.00 and for me I buy my hair products, skincare and bits from Boots so it's worth it. You still get the Advantage points for the products you get.
As you can see I have got £163.37 so I am planning to treat myself in the sales on something big like the Dyson or the Shark hair applicator.
