I had an early flight from Manchester to Lisbon so decided to go onto Hotels.com and book myself a hotel near the airport. Now don't get me wrong this hotel is really close to the airport but if you are like me and don't drive then it is a 45 minute walk from the airport.
Anyway my room was okay, it is a standard room, my bed was really comfortable, I could have slept there all night but my flight was at stupid o'clock, the room was very clean.
The bath was basic but what we need.
Now I can't remember how much it was but because on Hotels.com you earn points when you book hotels through them which means you get to a free hotel room worth a certain amount so I only paid £13.20.
The staff were really friendly, the hotel was quiet which I didn't expect that being on a flight path plus being near the motorway.
