Alicia Maude

Greenham Hall (Wellington 2021)

I was asked to go down to Devon for part of my job (not Maude & Noah, my 8am till 5pm job) to meet the client and just so you are aware I wasn't the one who chose the hotel or B&B.

The hotel is an old building in the middle of the countryside covered with pictures of wildlife.

My room was very cute, it reminded me of the room at my old neighbours house, kind of an old person room. There wasn't a lock on my door and we weren't given a key to open the door with.

There was a cute little living-room/dining-room and we were able to watch television - Olympics to be more specific.

The lady who greeted was lovely, very chatty and loved to tell us about the hotel and how her family owned it and moved into this derelict building and how the family built it up.

The window ledge was covered in dead flies and it wasn't just a couple, there were loads.

I had a lovely breakfast in the morning and it was delicious. The views are amazing. One thing that is annoying is the VERY slow internet which is funny because I work for a design company who design fibre connections but sadly we are not in Wellington yet because this place needs better internet and better fibre. This is a cute hotel and an eye opener because I have stayed in Premier Inns and Hilton hotels as well as some lovely but expensive hotels.
