My sister knows I love to tan so she got me the travel version of TAN-LUXE The Body Illuminating Self-Tan Drops for Christmas, I have decided to get the face version and try them out together.

HOW TO (face):
Prep: Be sure to cleanse and wash your face before application.
Apply: Mix 1-4 drops to your usual moisturiser, serum or face oil in the palm of your hand and apply evenly over the face. Additional drops of the product will add depth of colour and glow to the final result. Wash hands thoroughly after application.
Maintain: Gently exfoliate skin regularly to maintain an even, luminous glow.
HOW TO (body):
Prep: Exfoliate using a gentle scrub 24 hours before tanning. Lightly moisturise dry areas such as hands, feet, knees, ankles and elbows prior to application.
Apply: Mix 2-6 drops per body part with your usual body moisturiser, oil or cream in the palm of your hand. More drops will add depth of colour. Apply to dry skin in large circular motions from head to toe lightly covering hands elbows and feet. Thoroughly wash hands after use.
Maintain: Gently exfoliate and moisturise skin regularly to maintain an even, luminous glow.
I prepped my skin like they have suggested, I am ghostly white.
Before I start I used my usual face and body moisturiser Adex gel.
I did the maximum amount of tanning drops for my body, it doesn't dry very quickly but I massaged it into my skin in circular motions.
I massaged the mixture into my face.
Woke up the next morning and as you can tell by my face I am not happy with the result, I followed the rules, I guess because there is no colour I didn't notice where I had been massaging it into my skin so I guess I missed parts.
I showered and scrubbed my skin and still bad looking.
I don't like how this product has turned out, however I think maybe next time use a body butter instead of the gel and start off with the minimum amount of drops and build it, there might be a revisit blog post coming soon.
