FIRST IMPRESSIONS: PS… Amber Eyeshadow Palette

I saw this palette when I popped into Primark and thought I would try it out for you.

PACKAGING:

Cardboard with a plastic cover.

Before we start I use the Max Factor Miracle Prep Eyeshadow Primer on my right eye (left in the picture). I have quite oily eyelids so trying with and without primer feels like a fair experiment.

Look 1

Bare eyes and face.

Primer on the one eye.

Bottom Middle: Using a Real Techniques base brush I pat this shade all over the eyelid, the eye without the primer isn't as pigmented.

Top Left: Using a Morphe X Abby Roberts AB103 I blended this shade into the crease.

Top Left: Using a Morphe pencil brush I blended this shade on the bottom eye.

Top Right: Using a Real Techniques brush I patted this shimmer on the eyelid.

I forgot to take pictures of the finished look.

20:21: Was about to wash my face and forgot to take pictures but took them just before I touched my eyes, yes I have face wash on me. The eyes both have rubbed and moved but the eye without primer has more.

Date Tried: Tuesday 2nd July 2024

Look 2

Bare face and eyes.

Primer on the one eye.

Bottom Middle: Using a Morphe X Jeffree Star JS11 brush I patted this shade all over the lid.

Bottom Right: Using a Real Techniques Brow Brush I used it to do a winged liner look with this shade. There was quite a bit of fallout with this shade.

Makeup all done

21:30: Both sides has faded.

Date Tried: Saturday 17th August 2024

For a cheap palette this is quite good especially for the tones it has in it.
