FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Iconic London Warm & Blushing Eyeshadow Palette

I got this eyeshadow palette in the ASOS Advent Calendar so obviously I had to try it for the blog, if you want to see what other bits I got in my advent calendar then click here to read that blog post.

PACKAGING:

It is a cardboard palette inside a cardboard box.

No products on the eye yet.

When I do eyeshadow reviews and first impressions I always prime one eye with my favourite primer which is Max Factor Miracle Prep Eyeshadow Primer.

Bellini: Using my Morphe M441 brush I blended this shade into my crease and slightly above, it blended so smoothly.

Conker: Using the same brush I blended this shade into my crease.

Conker: Using my Real Techniques Accent brush I blended it under my eye.

Rags To Riches: Using the same brush I put this shade on the centre of my undereye.

Rags To Riches: Using my Real Techniques base shadow brush I patted this shade on the lid.

Wonderland: Using a Morphe brush I patted this shade onto my tear duct.

Makeup all done and my lips I did fix a little later, I didn't realise how silly they looked but anyway the eyeshadow looks decent.

Update #1 (2pm): The eye with primer (left in the picture, right for me) is more pigmented.

Update #2 (9pm): The eye without primer has definitely budged slightly.

I like the shadows, I just don't like the packaging, if I was to put it into my makeup bag when I travel something good spill like my setting spray and ruin the palette. If you have an oily eyelid like me then you will need an eye primer. You might be thinking that you have seen these pictures before, well I did another blog post at the same time FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Benefit BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara.
