FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Ciaté Fierce Flicks Liquid Liner

I saw this eyeliner on Birchbox when I was doing some online shopping and thought I would try a new eyeliner.

CLAIMS:

  • Specially formulated with jet-black pigment that won’t smudge, fade, or budge

  • Innovative marker application easily applies a sleek line to eyelids

  • Dramatic wings and kitten eyes are no match for this easy to use, stay in place precision tip pen!

  • Vegan Friendly

PACKAGING:

Packaging is slick and simple

INGREDIENTS:

Water (Aqua), Acrylates Copolymer, Butylene Glycol, PPG-26-Buteth-26, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Sorbitol, Caprylyl Glycol, Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract, Black 2 (CI 77266), Ultramarines (CI 77007)

I primed my right eye (left in the picture) using my favourite Max Factor primer. If you are new to my blog I prime one side to see if the product is better with primer or not. Now I blame lockdown and COVID because I have barely done eyeliner so I am a bit rusty.

It went on pretty easy, the brush was soft, sometimes liquid eyeliner brushes/applicators can be quite rough and tough maybe even sharp but this one isn't.

All makeup done and it's okay, the eyeliner could be better but I think that is because I am so rusty at doing eyeliner.

Update #1 (3pm): You can tell by the way this eye makeup looks that it is not fresh but still good.

Update #2 (6pm): It looks a little smudged and not so fresh.

Overall this eyeliner isn't that bad, removal was easy but it claims to be smudge, fade and budge proof which I disagree with, it only starts doing that later on in the day. I will continue to use it so maybe there will be a Revisit but it's not my favourite.
