Boots have a new range of skincare out so I thought I would pick up a few things and try them out and the first being a cleansing stick.
CLAIMS:
Melts away make-up
Nourishes and hydrates skin
Gives a healthy looking glow
PACKAGING:
A simple pink plastic twist up tube with a protective cap plus a screw on pink cap. This packaging is not yet recyclable.
INGREDIENTS:
Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Ethylhexyl palmitate, Butylene glycol dicaprylate/dicaprate, Polyethylene, Paraffinum liquidum, Cera microcristallina, Euphorbia cerifera (Candelilla) wax, Olea europaea (Olive) fruit oil, Dipropylene glycol, Parfum (Fragrance), Tocopheryl acetate, Linalool, Amyl cinnamal, BHT, Denatonium benzoate, Tocopherol
HOW TO:
Twist up the stick and rub over skin in circular motions.
Splash a little water on your face.
Massage with fingertips to lather.
Rinse thoroughly and wipe off the excess with wet tissue/cotton pad.
I was wearing a full face of makeup, trying out a new eyeshadow palette.
Rub this stick all over my face in circular motions.
Massaged this cleansing stick into my skin, melting the makeup away.
Using a muslin cloth I washed away the product.
I normally double cleanse but for a first time cleanser it has done pretty well, there is a slight amount of mascara on my eyelashes left but otherwise it's pretty much all gone.
Overall I think this cleansing stick is really good, my makeup was easily removed, my skin feels amazing but one thing I do think is odd or disgusting is how the stick looked afterwards so I think I will have to clean the stick every time I use it.
