Right so when I have flown before all I have done is short flights so with long haul I didn't know what to expect.
I know nothing about planes, I don't know what Boeing 767-400 means but I do know what Delta Comfort+ is so I actually booked this flight through Virgin and Virgin have five standards: Economy Light, Economy Classic, Economy Delight, Premium and Upper Class. Now as I booked Economy Delight that is what Delta Comfort+ is.
Delta Comfort+ you get luggage, more leg space, it's more comfortable but obviously not the top range. On my seat there was a pillow and blanket in plastic packaging, I didn't need the blanket because I travel with my Leicester Tigers blanket. We were asked if we would like headphones for the televisions and I said yes. The film selection was great, of course I watched James Bond.
There was also a travel kit which is exclusive to Comfort+ and consisted of eye mask, toothbrush and toothpaste plus ear plug, I put it into my bag but never actually used them.
The food was amazing, seriously delicious so I was asleep and was woken for lunch and it was an option of pasta or chicken so I chose chicken which was a delicious basil chicken gnocchi (stop a second, I love it that much that I took my phone out and put on my to do list to add gnocchi to my Ocado order because I want to retry this), there was a mozzarella, tomato and pesto salad, I an not a fan of mozzarella and HATE tomato so I scrapped the pesto and put it on the chicken and then the delicious vanilla bean ice cream from Beckleberry's.
Then there was an afternoon snack which was also delicious, a spiced chicken savoury pastry and Lily O'Briens Double Chocolate Mousse.
I would definitely fly with Delta Air Line again.
