During 2018 I have put more focus and effort into my skincare than I have ever done so thought I would share with my readers my daily morning skincare routine.
Cleanse: Yes To Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Facial Wipes I know Caroline Hirons' is going to hates face wipes but because I give myself a proper cleanse the night before I just use a wipe.
Lip Scrub: Lush Mint Julips Lip Scrub
I don't like mint but I like this lip scrub, I apply to my lips and move my finger in a circular motion then I have to admit I like the scrub off, it's delicious.
Lip Balm: Dr PawPaw Original Lip Balm Straight after removing the cleanser and lip scrub I apply this lip balm, another tasty lip balm that smells divine. I layer my lips sealing in the moisture. I love how this product is so multi-purpose so I can use it on my cuticles and my skin.
I have started using eye creams because I am getting old plus it also widens my eyes, energises them when I use this eye contour, I think it's the applicator that wakens me.
Toner: Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic This toner I use a few times a day, it's so refreshing and after washing my face with hot water I like to cool down my face with this light but soothing spray. I spray my face with this and let it sink in before I move onto the next step.
Serum: The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10% I started using this serum end-November because I have noticed that I have fine lines on my forehead and I hate them so looked into The Ordinary and this claims to help reduce fine lines, I am writing a blog post on it which will be out in the new year.
Serum: The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 I have been using this serum for about three months on and off and my skin has been glowing since using it but I notice when I miss it, I need to use it every day to see the glow, if I skip it that day my skin is dull. I put one dropper into my hand and then gently tap it into my skin and let it sink in.
Moisturizer: Soap & Glory Speed Plump™ All-Day Super Moisture Marvel I got this moisturiser in a Christmas gift set and never used it but 2018 has been the year trying new products and I have repurchased this moisturiser, it smells nice but leaves my skin feeling hydrated for hours especially when I am wearing a full face of makeup.
