Cibo (Manchester 2021) #Blogmas2021

Me and a work colleague mentioned that we would love to try pasta cooked in parmesan so we found the nearest restaurant and it was Cibo.

A trip was arrange with 21 of us going from Yorkshire to Manchester, main reason was for pasta but we did ice skating and bits.

The menu is above.

I ordered the Penne Reggiano with pancetta which is pasta with cream and sage, flambeed with Cognac in its Parmesan cheese and truffle oil and an Appetiser. Now as lovely as it tasted it arrived cold and it just wasn't present, there was too much truffle oil on it so it just wasn't as enjoyable.

The staff were so lovely which was really good, the service was brilliant and they weren't hovering over you but was there when you needed them.

The restaurant was very clean and well organised.

I would consider going again, I feel like my pasta was probably cold because there was about five of us at my large table having the pasta in the wheel and mine was served last.
