I did this blog post last year, it is a look back at the year of Birchbox's and what I have thought about them, you can read last years blog post here, now I haven't had a full year of boxes this year and that is through no fault of my own, Birchbox had some issue and the message below was on their website.
Now I have a little issue with Birchbox because I can't access my account and I have messaged them on Instagram, I have emailed them and nothing, they don't seem to help me so I don't know if I will be subscribing to them next year.
Now onto what I got in my Birchbox's for 2022
January 2022
This box was worth £27.79, started off the year with just a packaging box and the products came in a Turtle Bags Long Handle String Bag which I know some people would like but not me, there was an eye serum, face mask, micellar water and then shower gel and hair mask. I feel like it is all skincare based to thing 3 of the 5 items were skincare.

February 2022
This box was worth £30.99, second was obviously about love and the packaging was cute, there was a lip balm, hand cream, night cream, primer and leave in conditioner, this box wasn't really interesting for me, the brands (no offence) weren't amazing, there was Revolution Pro which is a reasonably priced brand, I want these boxes to have not well known brands that I can try.

March 2022
This box was worth £28.45, the female icon box contained an eye cream, hand sanitiser from HAAN which I love and I am actually considering stocking them on Maude & Noah, see this is what I mean by trying new brands, I had never heard about HAAN until getting it in my box. Also got a body souffle, shampoo and a Vitamasques cleanser which is a brand I really like and I stock their face masks on Maude & Noah. This box is a little better.

April 2022
This box was worth £36.65, the box arrived damaged, just the packaging so Birchbox actually sent me the box again (not the products). Inside there was a plumping mist from balance me that I loved, a sheet mask from BeautyPro and another brand that I am looking at stocking at Maude & Noah because I liked the mask, a Lord & Berry highlighter stick which is a decent brand, not drugstore like Revolution Pro, then I got a hand cream from Polaar, another brand that I am looking at stocking and finally a hair mask from We Are Paradoxx, I love this brand and was introduced to it via Birchbox and love the fact that I now have a favourite from a box.

May 2022
This box was worth £44.43, price is increasing in value but was the box any good, well it was alright so I got some serum, a Dr. PAWPAW balm, fed up of getting this brand, it is so inexpensive and so easy to get your hands on, a reusable bamboo-cotton pad but what was good was I got a liquid eyeshadow from LOC which is good and a body wash from Oribe which is an expensive brand.

This box was worth £26.73, this box I got a conditioner, a liquid highlighter which was really watery, NUXE scrub which I actually like, ultrasun SPF which I have used frequently and will be purchasing the full size plus a Vitamasques Super Green Detox Facial, now I stock this mask but getting this mask in this box made me stock them, I got to try the mask and love it.

This box was worth £28.47, I think this is the most boring box so far, aloe jelly bomb (BORING), lavender lotion that I can't use because I am allergic to lavender, a really dry eyeliner, eye makeup remover (used once because it was tiny), some balm thing.

This box was worth £36.95, another eye serum, liquid blush, face serum, bikini mask (I still have this to try, quite excited about it, interesting product), NUXE shimmer oil which is actually quite nice.

This box was worth £48.18, most expensive box so far, there was a face primer, eyeshadow trip from KNDR which I like, a scalp shampoo, hydrating toner that smells funny, and a mask/moisturiser/primer in one. Not impressed, also it came in a flannel bag.

October 2022
Well I was charged for this box but never received it and have tried to get in contact but no luck.
This year they have focused on skincare, I would love the boxes to be a mixture of makeup, skincare, bodycare and haircare maybe even tools like makeup brushes when I first got Birchbox I used to do my own nails (I get them done now professional) but back then I would have loved the odd nail polish. The grand total for this years worth of boxes is £308.64.
Will I be subscribing next year?: maybe, don't know if they are still going on.
