BATTLE OF THE DUPES #66: beautyblender vs. SHEIN

I love using beautyblenders but what I don't like is the price because I am a bit OCD and like to change out my sponge every month or every other month.

PACKAGING (beautyblender):

The sponge comes in a plastic tube.

PACKAGING (SHEIN):

Comes in a thick plastic egg and then in a plastic bag.

beautyblender

Purchased from: Cult Beauty

Price: £17.50

SHEIN

Purchased from: SHEIN

Price: £1.00

This is what the sponges look like dry.

I use my beautyblender wet so I wet them both.

Here is my skin with just skincare.

I am using my new favourite foundation at the moment, MAC Studio Radiance Serum-Powered Foundation (read here), I will use SHEIN on my right side (left in the picture) and beautyblender on my left side (right in the picture).

It took a while to blend in the side with the SHEIN sponge, it just kept moving the foundation.

I prefer the side with the beautyblender.

Applies nicest: beautyblender

Best packaging: SHEIN

Date Tried: Monday 20th May 2024

They are definitely not dupes, the beautyblender is softer and nicer to use, I feel like I can get into the creases with the smaller tip and it just better however if you are on a budget I recommend Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge.

Is it a dupe: No
