BATTLE OF THE DUPES #62: Aldi (Bramwells) vs. Mayflower

Mayflower items are hard to get in Harrogate, we don't have Home Bargains or Iceland or anything like that so we have to get this on our random trips to York so if Aldi is doing a version similar then yay!

Palm Oil, Potato Starch, Sugar, Maltodextrin, Onion Powder, Salt, Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Garlic Powder, Flavour Enhancer: Monosodium Glutamate; Colours: Plain Caramel, Paprika Extract; Flavouring; Ground Black Pepper, Ground Nutmeg, Ground Sage, Emulsifier; Lecithins (Soya), Chilli Powder.

HOW TO.(Aldi):

1. Put 4 heaped dessert spoons (40g) of gravy granules into a measuring jug and makeup to 280ml with boiling water.

2. Stir well and serve.

HOW TO.(Mayflower):

Hob From Ambient (To make 320ml):

1. Whisk 50g of Gravy Mix into 270ml of cold water in a sauce pan.

2. Bring to the boil stirring frequently.

3. Simmer for 2 minutes on very low heat. Serve hot.

Microwave From Ambient (To make 320ml):

1. Whisk 50g of Gravy Mix into 270ml of water in a casserole dish.

2. For 800 watt microwave oven, set time on full power for 5 minutes.

3. Stir well after every minute.

4. Guide only, times may vary according to the power of the microwave.
