BATTLE OF THE DUPES #4: e.l.f vs. MAC

I love MAC lipstick in Velvet Teddy so I decided to look for a dupe and on Pinterest there were a few posts about an e.l.f product being a dupe so I thought I would check it out.

I opened both of the lipsticks and swatched them on my arm and you can clearly see that they are definitely not dupes, I don't understand how people can claim they are a dupe but I can put this claim straight. However when I put it on my lips they looked very similar on the lips, I am going to say this isn't a dupe but if you can't afford MAC then I would suggest getting this for a slightly different alternative.
