What I have done is trialed these two out for a month, I have put one on one side and the other on the other side so I can see how the treatment works fully after a month of usage. By Beauty Bay is on the right side of my face (left in the picture) and The Ordinary is on the left side of my face (right in the pictures).
Week 1: Test 1
Before we start, why do I always look startled anyway my skin looks red, my skin is dry and spotty at the moment.
By Beauty Bay: applied a decent layer to half of the face, you can't really see it as much as when you see me apply The Ordinary.
The Ordinary: when I applied The Ordinary you feel a slight tingle which is a normal thing I think, it isn't unbearable.
10 minutes later and the side with The Ordinary feels like it has done something, your face feels differently.
Washed off the treatments using warm water and a flannel, my skin feels nicer and more hydrate.
Afterwards
The next morning
Date Tried: Wednesday 20th April 2022
Week 1: Test 2
Bare faced and red faced.
By Beauty Bay: applied, it's quite cooling on the skin.
The Ordinary: applied, it is a lot darker than the other treatment.
Dried and like on Wednesday, The Ordinary feels like it is doing something on my face.
Washed it off with warm water and a flannel.
Date Tried: Sunday 24th April 2022
Week 2: Test 1
Bare faced and ready for a treatment.
Applied both, I thought I would move this blog post along.
All dried and ready for removal.
Washed it off and I feel like The Ordinary side makes my skin feel smoother.
Date Tried: Wednesday 27th April 2022
Week 2: Test 2
I seem to have got a few new spots, I think this is due to stress.
I applied the treatments.
10 minutes later and it is time to remove the treatment.
Washed it off the usual way.
Thought I would share how my skin looks a couple hours later, my skin is glow-y and not so dull looking.
Date Tried: Sunday 1st May 2022
I did the face treatment on Wednesday 4th May 2022, Sunday 8th May 2022 and Wednesday 11th May 2022 but thought I would not show that, same sort of things.
Week 4: Test 2
Bare faced and final test.
By Beauty Bay: applied.
The Ordinary: applied.
I do the maximum time on my face with the treatment.
Washed it off with warm water and a fresh flannel.
Date Tried: Sunday 15th May 2022

Best results: The Ordinary
Best packaging: The Ordinary
I prefer The Ordinary over the By Beauty Bay, I feel like if you have sensitive skin maybe try By Beauty Bay, it is kind of weaker than The Ordinary, if I have a spot on the side with The Ordinary then they seem to go quickly. Even though they have the same percentages and everything I feel The Ordinary is stronger and works better.
Is it a dupe: Kind of
