I wanted to battle the two skincare brands out against each other.
PACKAGING (The Inkey List):
A very basic box but that seems to be their signature look with a tiny plastic bottle.
PACKAGING (The Ordinary):
Another simple box with a glass bottle with a pipette.

1% Hyaluronic acid for extra hydration
CLAIMS (The Ordinary):
Mild lactic acid superficial peeling formulation
Formula contrains a studied Tasmanian Pepperberry derivative to help reduce irritation associated with acid use

INGREDIENTS (The Ordinary):
Aqua (Water), Lactic Acid, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, Propanediol, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Tasmannia Lanceolata Fruit/Leaf Extract, Acacia Senegal Gum, Xanthan Gum, Isoceteth-20, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Sodium Hydroxide, Ethylhexylglycerin, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol.
HOW TO (The Inkey List):
Use in the PM.
Apply one to two drops to the fingers and gently pat into cleansed skin.
Follow with other serums and moisturisers.
Start with one application every other night and increase to once daily if desired
HOW TO (The Ordinary):
Apply once per day, ideally in the evening. Can be diluted with other treatments to reduce strength until skin develops tolerance. Avoid contact with eyes. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician. (Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.)
Before I start I am putting The Inkey List on the left side of my face (right in the picture) and The Ordinary on the right side of my face (left in the pictures). I will be using the same product on the allocated side.
Day #1
Both sides feel amazing and applied to the skin pretty good.
Day #3
I have noticed my skin the next morning has been feeling a lot better.
Day #5
I feel like my skin on both sides are improving.
Day #7
Straight after applying the lactic acids.

Best packaging: The Ordinary
I feel like my skin was desperate for lactic acid and I didn't notice any differences between the both of them and will continue using both of them as it is a new obsession of mine. They aren't a dupe due to the lactic acid percentage and I will use up one then the other, I think I will try and use up The Inkey List first and then ween my skin off of it.
Is it a dupe: No
