BATTLE OF THE DUPES #25: Pixi vs. The Ordinary

Pixi Glow Tonic has won many awards so I thought I would try and find a cheaper dupe.

PACKAGING (Pixi):

I have purchased the smallest bottle just incase I love it I will throw it into my travel bag (not that I am traveling thanks to corona). The product is in a plastic bottle with their signature greenish cap, you open the bottle up and there is a small hole. When I ordered it, it came with plastic wrap.

PACKAGING (The Ordinary):

The Ordinary came in a cardboard box, the product is in a plastic bottle with a cap but it also comes with a twist cap which I really like, as they have only got one size I think having the cap is really good to have when traveling then you put the twist cap on for ease of distributing the product.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution

Purchased From: Cult Beauty

Size: 240ml

I decided to try these products for a month, Pixi on my right side (left if you were to look at me) and The Ordinary on my left. Pixi is a dark orange when you put it on the cotton pad whereas The Ordinary isn't, both sides of my skin looked more glowy, I applied this both AM and PM and really think it settled my red inflamed skin at some time. The Ordinary Glycolic Acid Solution contains 2% more GA than the Pixi Glow TonicI feel like they have both done the same sort of job, I can't say it is an exact dupe because I am not a skincare expert but I do feel like these two products are very much the same, the ingredients are very similar.

Is it a dupe: Pretty much
