BATTLE OF THE DUPES #14: Benefit vs. W7

I love Benefit They're Real mascara and saw all over social media but it's an article on Cosmopolitan: It's a face off: Luxury vs budget mascaras that was written back in 2016 when Benefit was cheaper, so if W7 have a dupe for Benefit then I will swap it over and get a cheaper alternative.

PACKAGING (Benefit):

The packaging is plastic however I am not sure if the hand is metal, it feels better than the W7.

PACKAGING (W7):

W7 feels cheaper than the Benefit one but looks very similar to the Benefit, the handle is slightly shorter than the Benefit. The plastic is cheap feeling.

My eyelashes are short and not very curly.

On my right eye (left in the picture) I applied the Benefit mascara and on my left eye (right in the picture) I applied the W7 mascara. The Benefit mascara is definitely darker and lengthens my lashes whereas the W7 mascara reminds me of a slightly dried up mascara, both mascaras were bought brand new for this blog post.

I applied a second coat to both eyes and Benefit is definitely looking better.

I applied a third coat to the W7 side, you can barely notice a difference.

Applied the rest of my makeup,

Update #1 (9:30pm): The Benefit one has lasted, there is a slight drop the lashes, the W7 is the same.

Definitely not enjoying W7 Absolute Lashes Mascara, the packaging feels cheap, the mascara isn't very pigmented, doesn't lengthen or volumising or length which is very disappointing especially as I wanted to get a dupe for one of my favourite mascaras that keeps going up in price.

Is it a dupe: No
