I can't believe my blog is 7 years old. I feel like this is the longest hobby I have ever had.
Alright, let's walk through the updates I'm making to the blog, along with changes to my Instagram and TikTok pages.
You may have noticed that I now have a new logo! I’ve created a few different ones for various purposes: the generic ‘Alicia Maude’ logo will be used for the blog, the ‘The Life of Alicia Maude’ logo is for Instagram and TikTok, and the ‘Beauty By Alicia Maude’ logo is dedicated to my beauty business side. I also have another logo which I will show you further along in this blog post about another venture I have setup. I will go through each section of Alicia Maude.
I'm continuing with Alicia Maude (the blog), and while the layout has had a slight update, the posting schedule remains the same. You can expect beauty blog posts every Monday, fashion posts every Wednesday, and lifestyle posts every Friday. On Sundays, I’ll share a bonus post focusing on Lush bath bombs and bubble bars. Occasionally, I’ll mix things up with special weeks, like a full week of travel-related posts or themed months such as Dupe June. I’m also planning to dedicate a week, or maybe even a month, to recipe posts in the future.
I built this website using Wix. I'm not a coder, but I’m really proud of the layout and how it turned out. I’ve had it ready since the beginning of March and have been eager to launch it, but I decided to wait until after the birthday to do so.
My Instagram page, The Life of Alicia Maude, along with my TikTok, are where I share everything under the Alicia Maude brand.
On Instagram, I post the blog post thumbnails on launch days, share updates for Beauty By Alicia Maude, and on Sundays, I do a weekly picture roundup, which I’m really enjoying lately.
TikTok has become something I truly love. While I’ve shared a few video versions of my blog posts, I also enjoy posting day-in-the-life videos, fun content, and sharing my thoughts on topics I’m passionate about or curious about. There is no true schedule for my TikTok, you will get the Lush post on a Sunday but otherwise it is when I film I upload, day-in-the-life videos go out the day after the occasion.
Beauty by Alicia Maude is something new, though you might already know that I’ve been an FM World representative for years. I joined on August 22, 2022, and I absolutely love the brand. I own many of their perfumes and often rave about them! FM World offers affordable alternatives to some of your favorite high-end fragrances, and while they offer other products as well, I felt there was still a gap in the market for something more. That’s why I’ve now become a FARMASIrepresentative!
FARMASI is a relatively new brand in the UK, having only been here for a year. I recently signed up as a rep, but before I started sharing the products, I made sure to try them myself – and I love them! You may have already seen some of my blog posts about them. I’m truly passionate about this brand, and the team I work with is amazing, providing great support.

I also have another venture called Prints by Alicia Maude, where I plan to feature all of my previous style prints from Maude & Noah, along with new designs, on my new Etsy shop. This is a digital print business, and eventually, I’d love to offer custom designs for customers as well. I only have a couple of prints on there but watch this space, I will be uploading new prints but will showcase them on Instagram on a Sunday. So if you would like to see this then click here.
I’m excited to launch a monthly newsletter, which will be sent out on the 1st of each month. It will feature blog posts from the previous month, the latest news, and exclusive offers on FM World products and FARMASI items. I also want to create more interaction with my readers, so you can expect discount codes for my business, Maude & Noah, as well as other discounts from companies I partner with. Stay tuned for all the exciting updates!
