I really wanted to share all of the beautiful manicures I have had this year done by @meglouise_nailsandbeauty, I highly recommend Megan. Just so you know, I never get extensions or tips put onto my nails, only BIAB and gel polish.
January
I had quite short nails so went for navy blue and silver glitter.
February (manicure 1)
Here is how outgrown and missing a few, you can see how much my nails have grown.
I wanted to go round tip and I wanted to go cute and girly with glitter and look how adorable these are.
February (manicure 2)
I had a few accidents with my nails a few days or a week in to getting my manicure so needed to get them sorted.
I went for a French manicure which I love, I wanted something simple.
March
My nails are just outgrown but look how healthy they look.
Wanted to go girly and get flowers on my nails, I don't know where this has come from, I never do this sort of thing.
April
My nails are outgrown, my cuticles and skin is dry, I need to remember to use cuticle oil but look how long my nails have got.
I went for French manicure again, I feel like my nails are at the perfect length.
May
My nail broke at a market I was doing for Maude & Noah.
I decided to go colourful as I am going on a warm holiday, I wanted the blue for the Greek holiday I am going on, I also had to go short because of the break.
June
The same nail broke, plus they are really overgrown.
I saw on Pinterest a nail similar to this so decided to go for this design.
July
Nails are really overgrown and cuticles are overgrown and dry.
I went for my usual French manicure but with the lighting they look really pink, they are not.
August
Look how long they have gotten.
I wanted them short black, really love them.
September
My nails grow so quickly, I did have a few bits lift or break but it didn't break my nails.
Of course I went back to having French manicure.
October
My nails are way too long for me to function.
I went for a simple pink colour.
November
So long.
I went for a simple skinny French manicure.
December
Seriously, I believe this is the longest my nails have ever got.
I wanted a French manicure but I went with a red glitter tip for Christmas.
I know I am a qualified nail tech but I love getting my nails done, great conversation with Megan but also if I do them myself I don't have the wide range of colours plus sit back for thirty minutes to an hour and don't work. My nails have got so much stronger since using BIAB (Builder In A Bottle) and the gel. You can see over the months when I get them cut short they seem to grow so quickly. I will be doing this blog post next year, I am hoping to do more colourful designs.
